To the equator is a third-person exploration game switching back and forth between two parallel characters tied together by fate. Meet different characters on the journey and gradually uncover the story behind this world

For the sound design, I choose two prototype scenes to design all sounds based on Wwise.

​Project Info

1. At first, we decided to focus on the char sound. For my part, the first try is to make a prototype using the polar bear’s modified sound. . Using Wwise to play the sound in every letter and modify it in Ableton. But the sound conflicts with the game.

2. Find the way to play the env sound in-game by distance, both the diegetic sound(music) and the non-diegetic sound(birds. etc).

4. Footstep sound effect. Add every step a sound. Then I collected different material sound effects and add a trigger in Unity.

3. Combine the animation with the sound. Play the interact sound with the action of the player.
